MOS DEF ORDERED TO SETTLE DIVORCE

Rapper/actor MOS DEF was shocked on Tuesday (27JUN06) when a Brooklyn, New York judge ordered him and his wife to work out their acrimonious divorce immediately.

The hip-hop star, real name DANTE TERRELL SMITH, is seeking a divorce from MARIA YEPES-SMITH, his wife of 10 years.

A Brooklyn judge urged the rapper and his estranged wife to settle their messy divorce out of court during a hearing yesterday (27JUN06).

According to the New York Post, Justice SARAH KRAUSS told the parties, "Work it out, right now. I have 50 cases here."

The couple have two children together.
