ELTON JOHN HAS THE SCISSOR SISTERS TO STAY

SIR ELTON JOHN has ordered pop-rockers SCISSOR SISTERS to 'take their suitcases' directly to his house whenever they are in London.

The New York City musicians, who are close friends of John, arrived in England last week (begs19JUN06) to play a secret gig in the British capital.

The gay singer doesn't want the band to pay for pricey hotels and insists they stay at the luxury Windsor home he shares with partner DAVID FURNISH so they can all party together.

A source tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "Elton features on the new Scissor Sisters album and has been a long-time admirer and friend of the band. He is especially close to JAKE (SHEARS) and BABYDADDY.

"Elton and his partner David Furnish love having guests so, when they knew the band would be in town, they were told to forget booking a Park Lane suite but to take their suitcases direct to Elton's."
