WEEZER lead singer RIVERS CUOMO married his long-time girlfriend KYOKO ITO in a small ceremony last weekend in California (17/18JUN06).
The ceremony was attended by Cuomo's current bandmates and former bassist MATT SHARP and guitarist JASON CROPPER, along with MAKE BELIEVE producer RICK RUBIN.
The wedding was held at a secluded beachfront cliff property at Paradise Cove in Malibu, California and was attended by 100 friends and family members.
A string quartet provided the music and according to the band's website the menu consisted of "delicious vegan fare".
This was the second big event in recent weeks for Cuomo - he graduated from Harvard University last month (MAY06), after attending the prestigious Ivy League institution for 11 years between records and tours.
