DUVALL CHIDES CHURCH FOR CAT COLLECTION

SIDEWAYS star THOMAS HADEN CHURCH was mortified when co-star ROBERT DUVALL made fun of him for owning five female cats.

The pair were filming the western mini-series BROKEN TRAIL when his gruff co-star questioned him about his penchant for furry felines.

He explains, "I have a ranch in Texas, but I don't have your standard macho ranch dog - I have five cats.

"I think cats are regarded as feminine. Robert Duvall was appalled. He was like, 'You don't have a dog?!'

"My cats are all girls. They're named TWINKLE, HONEY, KITTY, BEANS - because everything gives her gas - and TYSON, because her nose is really flat like MIKE TYSON's.

"After Duvall's reaction, I was like, 'Oh God, maybe I need (to stop) letting people know!"
