MODEST MOUSE POSTPONE TOUR

Rockers MODEST MOUSE have postponed their US tour, because they are stuck in the studio desperately trying to finish their new album.

The band had scheduled concert dates on the US West Coast for August (06), but announced they are to be rescheduled on their website.

The group is currently in Mississippi working at a "feverish pace" with producer DENNIS HERRING, who helped them craft their 2004 album GOOD NEWS FOR PEOPLE WHO LOVE BAD NEWS.

A statement on the Modest Mouse website says: "The group sincerely apologises for any inconvenience and is looking forward to finishing their new album and rescheduling the dates."
