JACKSON OWES TONED NEW LOOK TO BOOTCAMP-STYLE TRAINER

JANET JACKSON owes her sexy new body to the persistent fitness trainer who refused to let her have a lie-in.

The pop superstar admits she hates working out and knew she'd have to sign up for a rigorous bootcamp-style regime if she wanted to lose 60 pounds (27.2 kilograms) in just four months.

Jackson piled on the weight for a movie role that never was and then went to great lengths to surround herself with a top trainer and nutritionist.

She says, "You just gotta have a wonderful trainer, someone who will drag you out of bed sometimes when you need it... I asked him to because I know how I can get."

Jackson credits her trainer for helping her stay focused during work-outs by mixing gym sessions with sporting highlights.

She adds, "He makes it fun for me and that's what's really important - he switches it up (because) I get very bored.

"One day it'll be about tennis and the next we'll hit some balls at the (baseball) batting cages and then we'll do football drills... We would run a lot at the beach too."
