NO MORE MR BUNGLE FOR PATTON

Rocker MIKE PATTON has hammered the final nail into the coffin of his cult group MR BUNGLE by announcing the band is dead.

Patton formed the funk-metal act with a group of high school friends in the mid-1980s before he became the frontman for FAITH NO MORE.

The singer continued to play and record with Mr Bungle, releasing three critically-acclaimed albums like MR BUNGLE and CALIFORNIA in the 1990s.

Despite rumours the group was reconvening for another album, Patton, who now fronts PEEPING TOM, insists he has no plans to revive his long-standing group.

He says, "Things die for a reason, and in Bungle's case, it was a lot of reasons. It was great while it lasted, but not something I'd go crawling back to."

Patton admits he has one regret about his former band - they should have recorded more albums: "I wish we could have put more records out. We probably should have."
