Hollywood star WINONA RYDER has turned her creative talents to writing - penning the forward to her late godfather's biography.
Counter-culture icon TIMOTHY LEARY died in 1996 aged 75, and has been remembered fondly by Ryder in a short introduction to his memoirs.
She says of the psychedelic drug advocate, "He made me believe I could do anything."
Ryder and her father MICHAEL HOROWITZ, Leary's best friend, have already signed to be creative consultants for a forthcoming project by LEONARDO DiCAPRIO's production company to make the first biopic of the LSD pioneer.
