CHURCH WARNS WANNABES 'DON'T SEEK FAME'

Welsh pop star CHARLOTTE CHURCH has issued a strong warning to wannabe pop stars, advising stardom will wreck their lives.

The singer, who shot to fame at the age of 12 with her operatic talents, claims she was overwhelmed by the attention she received - not all of it positive.

And now she's campaigning to stop naive girls from following in her footsteps and suffering for their celebrity.

She says, "If I had to give advice to young girls who want to be famous, I'd say unless you have thick skin, like me, and nerves of steel, don't do it.

The 20-year-old adds of her meteoric rise, "I didn't really understand anything that was going on. I couldn't possibly have expected the media attention."
