KING'S IT TO RETURN TO TV

Classic STEPHEN KING horror mini-series IT is set for a remake.

SALEM'S LOT screenwriter PETER FILARDI is reportedly reworking the script of the 1990 TV epic, which starred TIM CURRY as a demonic clown.

The original also starred JOHN RITTER, ANNETTE O'TOOLE and a young SETH GREEN.

The mini-series, based on King's novel of the same name, follows the fortunes of seven kids fighting an evil clown, called PENNYWISE, in 1960s Maine.
