CUSACK DISGUSTED BY HIDDEN DEAD

JOHN CUSACK is so disgusted America's war dead are brought back home in secret, he felt it was his duty to make a movie about the sensitive issue.

The media is banned from covering the return to the US of dead servicemen and servicewomen, after the number of coffins coming home shocked the American public during the Vietnam War in the 1960s and 1970s.

HIGH FIDELITY star CUSACK has just finished filming and producing GRACE IS GONE, in which he plays the husband of a servicewoman who is killed in Iraq.

Cusack says the Pentagon policy is "one of the most shameful, disgraceful, cowardly political acts that I've seen in my lifetime."
