BON JOVI HEARTBROKEN OVER WEMBLEY

Rock star JON BON JOVI is distraught his plan to make history by opening Britain's new-look Wembley Stadium have been crushed by delays to construction work.

KEEP THE FAITH hitmakers BON JOVI, who played the last concert at the original Wembley before it was demolished in 2002, were booked to perform the first show at the London landmark on Saturday (10JUN06), but have been forced to relocate to the Milton Keynes Bowl in Buckinghamshire.

Bon Jovi says, "I'm heartbroken. It's a shambles. It could've been a feat only accomplished once - the guy that closed it opens the new one."
