NIP/TUCK STARS DOUBLE SALARY

JULIAN McMAHON and DYLAN WALSH have had their salaries doubled for the TV series NIP/TUCK, after the show received blockbuster ratings last season (05) .

The plastic surgery drama, which airs on the US network FX, made history with the show's series finale last December (05), when it became the most watched program in the history of the network.

McMahon, who plays DR CHRISTIAN TROY, and Walsh, who plays DR SEAN McNAMARA, will receive more than $100,000 (GBP56,000) for each of the 15 episodes, bringing their total pay to nearly $1.8 million (GBP1 million).

Production on Nip/Tuck's fourth season begins next week (begs5JUN06).
