PAVAROTTI POSTPONES MORE GIGS
LATEST: Italian opera legend LUCIANO PAVAROTTI has been forced to postpone even more dates on his international farewell tour following complications from back surgery.

The NESSUN DORMA tenor, 70, first cancelled his Brazil gig in March (06) to fly to New York to seek medical help for his back problems and then pulled further dates in Chile, Portugal and Bosnia last month (APR06) to undergo an operation.
In a statement released yesterday (30MAY06), his manager TERRI ROBSON informed fans his Canadian leg of the tour and a gig in Washington DC have been postponed until October (06).
She says, "(After the operation), he went on to develop an infection during his stay in the hospital. This condition has unfortunately delayed his recovery time.
"Luciano apologises to his many disappointed fans for having to reschedule these concerts. Happily, he is now well on his way to recovery and very much looks forward to continue celebrating his career with the Pavarotti Worldwide Farewell Tour."
