THE DOORS drummer JOHN DENSMORE is hoping his eclectic jazz ensemble, TRIBALJAZZ, will help end global feuds between nations.
The rock star plans to perform with various world music stars and encourage US politicians to meet with foreign diplomats every time he plays.
He says, "I'm a great believer that music creates some kind of healing. We're playing the Kennedy Center (Washington DC) in June (06) with an Iranian.
"I'm aware that it seems to be part of US policy not to talk to Iran... but we're going to have a conversation musically and I'm hoping that will encourage the politicians to tale to each other."
