TRYING TIMES FOR ROCKER + DAD-TO-BE TOWNSEND

This summer's (06) Ozzfest tour promises to be a trying time for STRAPPING YOUNG LAD star DEVIN TOWNSEND - his wife, the group's manager, is pregnant with the rocker's first child.

Although TRACY TOWNSEND's baby isn't due until October (06), the SYL frontman admits he's nervous about touring in the months leading up to the birth - and exhausted.

He tells VH1.com that SYL's latest album, THE NEW BLACK, will be their last for some time as he plans to take a break from music after releasing 20 albums in 10 years.

He says, "I'm going to take a hiatus from making records for a while... (It has been) bang-bang-bang-bang. As soon as I finish one (record), I'm writing another, and when that one's done, I'm writing another. I just don't want to write records right now."
