Classical musician VANESSA MAE is being sued for $180,000 (GBP100,000) by a builder who claims she has failed to pay for work done on her London home.
ROBIN ELLIS was in charge of renovating the violinist's GBP2.5 million ($4 million) Kensington house until the dispute.
He is the third builder to have fallen out with Mae over money.
Ellis says, "It is very disappointing, we were a little concerned when we took on the job after two architects had resigned. Fortunately we have a lot of other work but I do have GBP10,000 worth of windows if anyone wants them. I actually feel sorry for Vanessa because she has created a situation she hoped to avoid."
