ELTON WANTS 'ADVENTUROUS MUSICAL'

SIR ELTON JOHN wants to make an ''adventurous'' musical based on his life, because he is bored of the ''bad'' stage shows about other singers.

QUEEN, ROD STEWART, ABBA and BILLY JOEL all have musical tributes on the stages of London and New York.

But John is unimpressed and wants to try a different concept.

He says, "I'm not a big fan of a lot of hits being strung together with pretty bad dialogue. I'd rather try something more adventurous, even if it failed, and know that I had put my heart and soul into it."
