DUSTIN HOFFMAN used to impress New York flatmate ROBERT DUVALL with his sexual conquests, once even bedding the daughter of a top politician and robbing her of her virginity.

Actor Duvall admits he still marvels at the RAIN MAN's star's luck with the ladies when they were living with another acting wannabe, GENE HACKMAN.

He recalls, "That guy had more luck than JOE NAMATH (US sports star and playboy) with women. Even before he made it.

"He took the virginity away from the daughter of a presidential candidate the night before the guy lost the election."
