A WEEKEND WITH DIDDY
SEAN 'P DIDDY' COMBS gave away a weekend with him at his New York home for a charity auction at DAVID and VICTORIA BECKHAM's glitzy pre-World Cup party on Sunday night (21MAY06).
English soccer supremo WAYNE ROONEY beat off hot competition from SHARON OSBOURNE and landed the prize for his fiancee COLLEEN McLOUGHLIN with a GBP152,000 ($274,000) bid.
Osbourne looked certain to win after upping the bidding from GBP10,000 to GBP100,000, but England striker Rooney - who earns $5.75 million (GBP3.2 million) a year - was determined to win.
The auction collected more than $3.6 million (GBP2 million) for charity. Other items auctioned included meals cooked by OZZY OSBOURNE and chef GORDON RAMSAY.
