PRINCE NAMED WORLD'S SEXIEST VEGETARIAN

PRINCE has been voted the World's Sexiest Vegetarian, by an annual online poll conducted by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

The pop star shares the title with VERONICA MARS star KRISTEN BELL.

The 47-year-old musician is a strict vegan and recently wrote in the liner notes of his latest album, 3121, about the evils behind wool production.

He closed the disc with a quote from MAHATMA GANDHI, "2 my mind, the life of a lamb is no less precious than that of a human being."

Bell says of her vegetarianism, "I had a hard time disassociating the animals I cuddled with - dogs and cats, for example - from the animals on my plate, and I never really cared for the taste of meat.

"I've always loved my Brussels sprouts!"

Runners-up in the poll include NATALIE PORTMAN, NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN and JOAQUIN PHOENIX.
