PETE TOWNSHEND insists he conjured up the concepts of musical ring tones years before they became available - and he is planning to release some of THE WHO's songs for use on mobile phones.
The 62-year-old also insists he is a fan of the biggest love-hate ring tone ever created - the CRAZY FROG's version of BEVERLY HILLS COP theme tune AXEL F.
He says, "Await my cunning plan... I thought of phone tones about 10 years ago and thought they'd never happen in a million years.
"I love the Crazy Frog."
