CARSON MANSION ON THE MARKET

Late US talk show legend JOHNNY CARSON's Malibu, California mansion has been put on the market for $42 million (GBP23 million).

Carson purchased the completely furnished estate in 1984 for $9.5 million (GBP5.3 million) and lived there for the last 21 years of his life.

THE TONIGHT SHOW host passed away from emphysema in January 2005 at the age of 79 and his widow ALEXIS has put the home up for sale.
