WILLIAMS' SOCCER TALK WITH BLAIR

Pop star ROBBIE WILLIAMS is appealing to British Prime Minister TONY BLAIR for soccer tactics - in a bid to publicise his fundraising celebrity match.

ROBBIE WILLIAMS plays football with some boys in Berlin before his sound check, on 'Robbie Williams On The Road To Berlin', Channel 4

The ANGELS star hopes teams featuring the likes of JUDE LAW and showbiz chef GORDON RAMSAY will attract huge interest in his United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) appeal, but he's going to garner government support first to guarantee the tournament is a success.

Williams, who is captain of one of the Soccer Aid teams, will meet Blair later this month ahead of the contest in Manchester, England, on 27 May (06).

A source tells British newspaper the Daily Express, "Rob is always keen to promote Unicef.

"When Blair asked to meet Robbie, of course he agreed. He wants to speak to those who have the power to change things."
