THOM YORKE: 'I'M STICKING WITH RADIOHEAD'

RADIOHEAD frontman THOM YORKE insists he will juggle his upcoming solo project with his frontman responsibilities with the CREEP band.

Yorke's solo album THE ERASER will be a step away from the anguished indie sound that made Radiohead famous - it will feature more electronic influences.

But the FAKE PLASTIC TREES singer is quick to allay fears of a split, and has pledged his allegiance to his band.

He says, "Inevitably it is more beats and electronics, but it is songs. I have been itching to do something like this for ages.

"As you know the band are now touring and writing new stuff and getting to a good space so I want no c**p about me being a traitor or splitting up."
