SNOW PATROL STAR SLAMS ORDINARY BOY PRESTON

SNOW PATROL singer GARY LIGHTBODY has slammed musicians who try to revive their failing careers by appearing on reality TV shows.

The Irish rocker uses THE ORDINARY BOYS singer PRESTON - who became a household name after his stint in UK reality TV show CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER - as an example, insisting he could never bring himself so low as to appear in the television genre.

Lightbody says, "I'd never do what Preston did. I've never met him but he's said nice things about us. He seems like a really likable bloke but I just wouldn't do it. I read that the rest of the band weren't that fussed. He was a fan of the show but that makes it easier. I hate that type of show, that I'm A Celeb Fire Me Out Of A Cannon type thing."
