BERRABAH WON'T SING BUENA'S VOCALS

New SUGABABES member AMELLE BERRABAH is devastated after learning her vocals will only feature on a handful of tracks on the trio's upcoming greatest hits album.

The RED DRESS hitmaker has been a huge hit with fans after she joined the British girl band following MUTYA BUENA's December (05) departure, but is disappointed over revelations she will not be able to legally re-record Buena's vocals.

She explains, "I didn't realise but it's illegal to re-record over Mutya if the song has already been released.

"I was really disappointed as obviously I wanted to sing everything on the greatest hits."

However, Berrabah is determined to stamp her creativity on the group.

She adds, "There'll be three or four new tracks which I've helped to write, so I'm pleased about that.

"It means so much more when it comes from your heart, your thoughts. I note down all the time when I'm on the train - if I have an argument with my sister, or FRED, my boyfriend, for instance.

"I write a lot of ballads."
