SORAYA DIES OF BREAST CANCER
Colombian singer/songwriter SORAYA died aged 37 yesterday (10MAY06) after losing her battle with breast cancer.
The 2003 Latin Grammy winner, who tirelessly campaigned for cancer charities, passed away at a Miami hospital.
Her manager JOYCE FLEMING says, "Her most important mission raising awareness about breast cancer, giving hope to women who, like herself, suffered from this illness, and collecting funds or research to help find a cure."
