KAPRANOS STEPS INTO THE KITCHEN
FRANZ FERDINAND frontman ALEX KAPRANOS is swapping rock for food and publishing his own book of tasty recipes.
SOUND BITES will be a compilation of food columns the Scottish rocker has written for British newspaper The Guardian.
It is due for release later in 2006, complete with illustrations provided by Franz Ferdinand's touring drummer and keyboard player ANDREW KNOWLES.
