Reformed 1990s boyband TAKE THAT are celebrating after reportedly clinching a $5.4 million (GBP 3 million) record deal with music giant Polydor.

The group, comprising GARY BARLOW, MARK OWEN, JASON ORANGE and HOWARD DONALD, regrouped this year (06) following a 10-year hiatus, and promises of a new album instantly sparked a bidding war.
A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "There was massive record company interest in signing Take That onto a new deal to carry them through the next few years.
"Two things contributed to the frenzy. First, their current tour proved there is still a big fan base. but it was a collection of new songs which gave Polydor the confidence to commit to the future.
"All four of them have been writing this time, not just leaving it all to Gary."
The band's former manager NIGEL MARTIN-SMITH insists the success of the band's current tour has proved their longevity.
He says, "I can't believe what a success the comeback has been. I thought they would do the tour and that would be it.
"But now they could tour every year and pack stadiums."
