AMERICAN IDOL GRADUATES

AMERICAN IDOL star CARRIE UNDERWOOD can add college graduate to her resume after picking up a degree from Northeastern State University on Saturday (06MAY06).

Carrie Underwood

The pretty country singer, 23, who won last year's American Idol TV talent contest, received a Bachelor of Arts degree. She majored in mass communications.

Underwood was three credits shy of earning her degree when she was forced to quit school to concentrate on American Idol.
