CHAKA KHAN SON CLEARED OF MURDER CHARGE

Eighties pop star CHAKA KHAN's son DAMIEN HOLLAND has been acquitted of murder charges in a Los Angeles court.

Holland, 27, was accused of shooting CHRISTOPHER BAILEY in 2004 during a party at Holland's LA home.

Holland, who admitted lying to the police initially, claimed Bailey's death was an accident. He told the court he and Bailey had been fighting over a rifle - after Bailey told Holland he had an affair with Holland's girlfriend.

Khan, who testified on her son's behalf, told the court it was "Like something out of a nightmare," reports Associated Press.
