MANILOW SCORES HIS FIRST TRIPLE PLATINUM DVD

BARRY MANILOW's 2006 comeback continues as the crooner celebrates his first triple-platinum DVD.

The MANDY singer wowed US music industry experts earlier this year when his THE GREATEST SONGS OF THE FIFTIES stormed to the top of the charts.

And now his MANILOW: MUSIC AND PASSION DVD has streaked past the three million sales mark in just a month.

The DVD features footage of the singer/songwriter's 100th performance of his hit show, also called Manilow: Music + Passion at the Las Vegas Hilton in Nevada.

Manilow is the number one Adult Contemporary Artist of all time in America. He has sold 75 million albums and performed over 3,000 concerts. He has 28 platinum records.

The crooner plans to capitalise on his popularity rebirth by releasing a follow up to his 50s hits album, THE GREATEST SONGS OF THE SIXTIES, later this year (06).
