MATCH POINT star JONATHAN RHYS-MEYERS finds his girlfriend incredibly sexy, because she's smarter than he is.

The Irish hunk is in a relationship with 19-year-old REENA HAMMER, a student at Kings College London.

The actor has worked with screen beauties ANGELINA JOLIE and SCARLETT JOHANSSON, but prefers brains over beauty.

He explains, "My girlfriend is an intellectual. I think it's nice to go out with someone who is smarter than you are. It's very sexy."
