Rockers SEVENDUST have been forced to scrap a handful of May (06) dates to allow guitarist JOHN CONNELLY time to recover from a hand injury.
The rocker has broken a bone in his hand and has been told to rest up, prompting the cancellation of all dates until 13 May (06).
The band's spokeswoman says, "John Connolly was working in a studio on Monday and had his left hand inadvertently crushed between two road cases as they were being shifted.
"A small bone was affected preventing him from properly clutching the neck of his guitar."
The group plans to resume its tour in Corpus Christi, Texas, on 13 May (06), when Connolly is expected to return to the stage.
All dates cancelled by the injury will be rescheduled.
