SPORTS STAR KOBE A DAD AGAIN

Basketball superstar KOBE BRYANT and his wife VANESSA are parents again following the birth of baby GIANNA MARIA-ONORE yesterday (01MAY06).

The couple almost split three years ago (04) when the Los Angeles Lakers star was charged with sexual assault after cheating on his wife with a Colorado hotel employee. The sports star later settled with his accuser.

Bryant hopes the birth of his second daughter heralds happier times for himself and his family: "The arrival of our new daughter Gianna is such an incredible blessing for me and my family. We are all full of beautiful emotions after such an incredible day."

The Bryants also have three-year-old daughter NATALIA.
