QUENTIN TARANTINO fears he will have to ditch plans for a JIMI HENDRIX biopic, as he has failed to find the perfect actor to play the iconic guitarist.
The maverick movie-maker has struck a deal with the late PURPLE HAZE star's brother LEON to produce the film.
But although filming is scheduled for later this year (06), Tarantino still hasn't found his Hendrix.
A source says, "Quentin is now worried it won't get off the ground."
