KNOPFLER AND HARRIS TEAM UP FOR DUETS ALBUM
Former DIRE STRAITS frontman MARK KNOPFLER has teamed up with country queen EMMYLOU HARRIS for an album of duets.
The couple met while taping a TV special with the late CHET ATKINS and became fast friends.
Knopfler says, "With that amazing voice, Emmylou, now more than ever, seems to capture a kind of universal female experience, something that speaks to all ages."
