TALENT SHOW WINNER TAKES UK TOP SPOT
TV talent show winner SHAYNE WARD knocked THE STREETS' third album HARDEST WAY TO MAKE AN EASY LIVING off the top spot in the UK album charts on Sunday (23APR06).

Ward, who won THE X FACTOR show last year (05), went straight to number one with his debut eponymous-named album, while GNARLS BARKLEY remained at the top of the singles chart with CRAZY for a fourth week.
Meanwhile, Ward's single NO PROMISES slipped from second to third place, while RIHANNA's track SOS rose from last week's (16APR06) five to two.
The only new entry in the top five singles this week was INFERNAL's FROM PARIS TO BERLIN, while THE ZUTONS' latest LP TIRED OF HANGING AROUND entered the album charts at two.
