LATEST: The family of late INXS star MICHAEL HUTCHENCE are furious after film bosses failed to consult them about making a movie chronicling the singer's life.
British film director and friend of Hutchence NICK EGAN, is on the lookout for actors to play the late frontman himself, his girlfriend PAULA YATES and Yates' ex-husband SIR BOB GELDOF, for a biopic on the singer's life and tragic death in 1997.
Hutchence's mother PATRICIA GLASSOP says, "No one has ever made any contact with us about doing a film.
"Are they going to look at his younger days growing up? How would they know anything about that when they weren't there?
"I would be interested to know who they are going to cast, and who would play me."
Hutchence was 37 when he was found dead behind the door of a hotel room in Sydney, Australia. The verdict was accidental suicide.
