CRUISE PRANKS REPORTER WITH BABY PHOTO
TOM CRUISE showed off his playful side in his first interview since the birth of his daughter SURI when he pretended he had a picture of the baby in his back pocket.
The movie star sat down for an interview with US newscaster DEBORAH ROBERTS and the rest of the MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE III cast last week (ends21APR06) and decided to have a little fun when the prying interviewer attempted to get hold of a first shot of the new baby.
Roberts was thrilled when Cruise reached into his pocket after the interviewer asked if he had a photo of his newborn on her news show 20/20, which aired in America last night (21APR06).
His castmates also held their breaths as a giggling Cruise presented Roberts with nothing but an empty palm.
Roberts says, "It was really funny at first and I really thought that we would get the first peek at this beautiful little baby."
