EQUITY BOSSES TURNED OFF BY NUDE PLANS
America's Equity acting union bosses have advised a group of nudist thespians to keep their clothes on during a performance of New York play TIGER BY THE TAIL tonight (21APR06) - or risk legal action.
The group, calling itself MALES AU NATURAL, was planning to flood the audience of the play and strip during a graphic rape scene onstage - to support their acting brothers in the show.
But officials at the American Equity Association have suggested this isn't a good idea.
They've advised Males Au Natural that it would be "inappropriate to require a cast to perform in the presence of a nude audience."
