THE DARKNESS may be the latest band to be filmed living in a glass box for a new reality TV show called BAND IN THE BUBBLE.

Australian band REGURGITATOR and their management team have sold the reality TV concept to a British production company.

The group were part of a show in 2004 where they were put on display in a glass box in Melbourne, Australia's Federation Square for three weeks.

Crowds were able to watch the band as they wrote and recorded songs for an album.

According to the Sydney Daily Telegraph, The Darkness are considering an offer to star in the British version of the show.

The band could be looking to boost their image after their second album, ONE WAY TICKET TO HELL... AND BACK, failed to sell as well as expected.
