THE GAME: 'COURT ABSENCE WASN'T MY FAULT'

LATEST: Rapper THE GAME has hit out at his arrest warrant for skipping a court appearance, insisting he never received the summons.

The HOW WE DO star was due in court in North Carolina on 28 March (06) to face charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, following an October (05) incident in a shopping centre.

The Game - real name JAYCEON TAYLOR - was arrested while signing autographs and wearing a Hallowe'en mask. Police allege he and his entourage were swearing loudly and intimidating passers-by.

But the hip-hop star maintains his court absence was the result of an innocent mix-up.

Manager JIMMY 'HENCHMEN' ROSEMOND tells AllHipHop.com, "There was a change of address in which Game did not receive his court summons.

"It was a simple mistake and yes, a paper warrant was issued. However, his attorneys are working to clear this matter immediately."
