MARTIN SET FOR HALL OF FAME HONOUR

THE BEATLES producer SIR GEORGE MARTIN will be inducted into the UK Music Hall of Fame at a London ceremony later this year (06).

Martin, who will be presented with the Honorary Member award for his contribution to British music, will join past honourees JOHN PEEL and CHRIS BLACKWELL.

He'll be among the 20 artists who have been inducted to the new Hall of Fame in the past two years. They include THE BEATLES, MADONNA and PINK FLOYD.
