LITTLE RICHARD FIGHTS ILLNESS REPORTS

Rock 'n' roller LITTLE RICHARD is fighting back at reports he's in the midst of a health crisis after he was spotted being escorted through a Georgia airport in a wheelchair.

The GOOD GOLLY MISS MOLLY hitmaker, 73, insists he was simply feeling his age after a bout of the flu and needed assistance.

His publicist GLORIA BOYCE says, "He has pins in his leg from a bad car crash in the 1980s and it can hurt him in cold weather.

"It was cold in Atlanta and he caught the flu. So he asked an attendant to wheel him through the airport."
