BON JOVI GIG RELOCATES

LATEST: BON JOVI have moved the venue for their two summer shows in Britain to the Milton Keynes Bowl, following worries construction of Wembley stadium wouldn't be completed in time.

The American rockers were set to make history by being the first band to perform in the new national stadium, but have been forced to relocate their June 10 and 11 (06) shows to the amphitheatre in Buckinghamshire.

The band says on their website, "After contact with Wembley, it is evident that the stadium will not be ready for the Bon Jovi shows in June."

Lead singer JON BON JOVI says, "Having closed the original Wembley Stadium, it would have been a fitting honour to open the new one. However, the most important element was always the live concerts themselves."

THE ROLLING STONES and British boy band TAKE THAT - who were also schedule to play at Wembley during the summer months - have also changed their venues to Twickenham Stadium and the Milton Keynes Bowl respectively.
