ROMIJN NEEDED THERAPY TO MOVE ON FROM MARRIAGE

Actress REBECCA ROMIJN was devastated after she split from husband JOHN STAMOS and needed years of therapy to work through her divorce.

The X-MEN beauty candidly admits she had a lot to sort out after the end of her storybook marriage in April 2004.

She explains, "I did a lot of therapy and spent two years figuring out what's what. It's been an interesting ride."

Romijn is now engaged to actor JERRY O'CONNELL and called her former husband to break the news to him.

She adds, "When I got engaged again, I let him know, so he heard it from me and not other people.

"I think he was grateful for that.

"John and I certainly don't have a regular relationship, but he's a great, great guy."
