CHAN INJURED ON SET

Kung fu star JACKIE CHAN was admitted to hospital on Thursday (23MAR06) when a stunt went awry on the set of his latest film.

A stuntman was wearing the incorrect shoes when he kicked the RUSH HOUR actor in the chest, during filming for the action comedy ROB-B-HOOD in Hong Kong.

After receiving a check-up from doctors, Chan admits he felt sore for a few days afterwards.

He says, "These things just happen. I always put safety first when filming, but still, sometimes things just go wrong. It was just an ordinary accident.

"The stuntman working with me had on the wrong shoes and I got hurt."
