R KELLY'S BROTHERLY FEUD CONTINUES

Carey discussed his relationship with R Kelly - real name ROBERT KELLY - on New York radio station Hot 97 on Friday (24MAR06), as he promoted his low-budget DVD, which includes allegations the star has had sex with minors, beats his wife, has molested his nieces and is bisexual.
Carey alleges Robert asked him to tell police it was him on the sex tape which lead to the latter's upcoming child pornography trial, in exchange for $50,000 (GBP29,400), a record deal and a house.
Robert's younger brother claims he refused the offer on moral grounds, even though he was living in his car at the time. Carey alleges Robert announced his proposal while the two were in a hot tub, so he knew Carey wasn't wearing a wire, MTV reports.
Carey says, "My brother wanted me to do some s**t pertaining to this case that would leave me behind bars with a record deal.
"It doesn't make sense, so I turned it down. Since I couldn't lie for him in a court of law, we're back to beefing again, and we ain't brothers no more.
"I'd rather get it (fame and money) on my own than sell my soul, so that's why I'm speaking the truth."
Carey also alleges he contributed to several tracks on the star's 1993 album 12 PLAY and was never paid for them.
Carey told Hot 97, "I never asked for a handout, but pay me for what I do."
In response to Carey's allegations on the DVD and radio, Robert's spokesman says, "This is not the first time Carey has made ridiculous accusations against his brother. We're not going to dignify them with a comment."
Robert is set to stand trial on child pornography charges in Chicago, Illinois on 7 April (06). He has pleaded innocent to the charges.
